NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Columbus Regional Day Two Results
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Penn State men’s golf junior Patrick Sheehan and graduate student Lou Olsakovsky completed the second of three rounds at the NCAA Columbus Regional Tuesday afternoon at Ohio State’s Scarlet Course.
Sheehan had a one-stroke improvement from the first to the second round, carding a 2-over, 73, Tuesday. He enters Wednesday’s third and final round at 5-over, 147, and tied for 44th place.
Olsakovsky shot an 8-over, 79, Tuesday and heads into the third round in 70th place at 12-over, 154.
The third and final round takes place Wednesday, with all tee times moved up 30 minutes to avoid potential rainfall later in the day.
The top five teams from each of the six regional sites (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to play in the championships at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 27–June 1.
