Trojan freshman Jackson Rivera earned another well-deserved honor Tuesday (May 31), tabbed as a member of the 2022 Division 1 PING All-West Region team.
Rivera tied for 10th at the NCAA Championships Stockton Regional to close his season, finishing just one stroke short of a playoff that decided an individual NCAA final berth.
The finish marked his third top 10 in his last four events, including a pair of ties for sixth, one at the 2022 Pac-12 Championships.
Rivera posted a team-best seven top 21 results, finished the season with a team-best 20 rounds under par and 23 of par or better (tied for ninth on USC’s all-time season list). His team-leading stroke average of 71.70 is 16th on USC’s all-time season chart.
It is USC’s first All-Region selection since 2020.
