Hartlage Tied for 17th at Women’s United States Open

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Former University of Louisville women’s golfer Lauren Hartlage is tied for 17^th after the first two rounds of the United States Women’s Open Friday at the Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.
 
After shooting an even-par 71 on Thursday, Hartlage followed up with a 2-under-par 69 to enter the third round seven shots off the lead. The former All-American birdied three of the first five holes and five of the first nine to card a 2-under-par 33 on the front nine. She connected on a 50-foot birdie putt on the seventh hole to record a birdie.
 
The back nine saw Hartlage record just one birdie to shoot and even-par 36. The Elizabethtown, Ky., native will tee off Saturday at 12:05 p.m.
