A two-time All-American, Wu joins the Florida women’s golf program after recently playing on the Epson Tour.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Beth Wu was named as an assistant coach for the Florida women’s golf team, head coach Emily Glaser announced Tuesday.
Wu begins her coaching career after spending the last three years (2020-22) on the Epson Tour. She posted four top-10 finishes, including two runner-up outings in 2021 at the Garden City Charity Classic and the Donald Ross Classic. In 2021 she finished 11th on the Epson Tour money list. Earlier this year, Wu competed at the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open at Pine Needles.
Highlights of her amateur golf career include representing Team USA at the 2016 Curtis Cup and a semifinalist performance at the 2015 U.S. Women’s Amateur.
A native of Diamond Bar, Calif., Wu was a four-year member of the UCLA women’s golf team from 2015-19. She began her collegiate career being named a Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Honorable Mention. She collected her second All-American nod in her senior season in addition to being a four-time All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. Wu notched two collegiate wins in her senior season, including the prestigious PING/ASU Invitational.
Wu earned her degree in Asian American Studies in 2019 at UCLA.
