Dustin Johnson What’s In The Bag?
What clubs does he put into the bag each week? Let’s take a look. DJ has been a TaylorMade staffer for his entire career as a professional and extended his deal with the company to begin 2021 after a sensational 2020 where he won The Masters (opens in new tab) and the FedEx Cup.

Driver
TaylorMade Stealth Plus
Dustin Johnson has recently changed his driver. He had been using a TaylorMade SIM2 Max driver but this has since come out for a TaylorMade Stealth Plus model. What remains consistent is the loft which is 10.5 degrees, and the shaft which is a Fujikura Speeder 661 X prototype shaft. Speaking to GolfWRX he said; “The feel is great. It doesn’t feel like it’s – it still feels like it’s titanium. Feel is funny, because feel is all sound, so as long as the sound is good, it’s gonna feel right. They did a really good job with the sound, and I think it sounds really good. It sounds solid when you hit in the middle. Obviously, I can feel if I hit it off the heel or the toe, so I’m getting really good feedback from it, so I really like that. Then, like I said, the numbers have been really good, consistent, and that’s all I’m looking for.”

Moving to the fairway woods, he uses a Stealth 3HL 3 wood. The two-time Major winner likes a weaker 3 wood due to the immense distances that he hits the ball. He also has a Stealth 21 degree 7 wood, adding in a nice gap between his 3 wood and 3 iron. Additionally he has occasionally put a Stealth Rescue into play as well as a TaylorMade Stealth 9-wood with roughly 24 degrees of loft. With a 245-yard carry, the 9-wood wound up producing an almost identical distance to the 3-iron, which made for a seamless transition.
