Having won the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship at college, Homa turned professional in 2013, enduring a difficult six year period where he lost and regained his PGA Tour card on a number of occasions.
His big break came in 2019, when he won the 2019 Wells Fargo Championship. The American would then follow that up with two victories in 2021, one of which was the Genesis Invitational, a tournament hosted by Tiger Woods. In total he has had four PGA Tour victories.
Following his recent successes, we have taken a look at what clubs Homa uses whilst out on the course.
Max Homa What’s In The Bag?
Driver
Titleist TSR3
When you look at Homa’s bag, you will see he has a full complement of Titleist clubs. Starting with the driver, he uses a Titleist TSR3, which replaced the TSi3, TS3 and TS4 models he had in the bag in 2021. It has nine degrees of loft and an Aldila Rogue Black 130 MSI 60 TX shaft.
Fairway
Titleist TSi2
Next up in the bag is Homa’s fairway woods, which are both TSR2’s which replaced his TSi2’s. The American has a three-wood with 15-degrees of loft, and a seven-wood which is 21 degrees of loft. In the past, he has also carried an 818H2 hybrid or a Titleist U500 utility iron. However both of those clubs seem to come in and out of the setup depending on the course and the conditions.
Irons
Titleist T100S, Titleist T100, Titleist 620MB
The irons of choice for Homa have recently changed a bit. For a long time he had a full set of blades in the bag but he has now got a Titleist T100S four-iron, Titleist T100 five-iron, and a Titleist 620MB’s from six-iron down to nine-iron. Released in 2019, the 620MB’s feature a classic design with a progressive blade length optimising play throughout the set. They also feature a Tour-refined sole that improves turf interaction for better ball striking from all lies.
Wedges
Titleist Vokey SM9
