Maryland Men’s Golf Releases 2022-23 Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD – The 2022-23 Maryland men’s golf schedule was announced Thursday by first-year head coach John Phillips. The season features 10 regular tournaments across seven states, including Puerto Rico. See the full schedule here.

“The team is excited to play such a competitive schedule, one that includes some new stops for us,” said Phillips. “This fall, we will compete here in the DMV area for the first time in many years at TPC Potomac. We will also visit some of our fellow Big Ten Conference members at Wisconsin and Purdue. This fall alone, we will compete against 21 teams who made the NCAA Tournament and 11 who ultimately advanced to the Finals. We are truly honored to have this opportunity.”

For the first time this year, the Terrapins will compete in the Howard University/USF Collegiate Invitational at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Maryland, being played just under 30 minutes away from campus.

Returning players this year for the Terrapins include Dillon Brown, Will Koras, Will Celiberti, Thomas Eubanks, Florian Huerlimann, and John Updike.

Newcomers include freshman Ronnie Kim of Olney, Md., Constantin Mons of Hamburg, Germany, and Armand Papaziani of Mougins, France.

Assistant coach Jimmie Massie will also join the Terrapins in his first season.

“The spring season will also be a substantial test,” said Phillips. “In addition to the regular stops at Big Ten Match Play and the Puerto Rico Classic, we will visit some ACC and Big 12 opponents at NC State and West Virginia. The upcoming schedule should provide a challenge for our team and assist us in developing as we work towards Big Ten’s and NCAA’s.”
