Jason Day What’s In The Bag?

What clubs does he put in the bag? Lets take a look. Day has played TaylorMade clubs since mid-2006 and in the past had the M3 and M6 in the bag. He also put the M6 and SIM Max in the bag however it appears he is another player to test the free agent club market as he now has an interesting mix of golf clubs and brands at the moment.

Starting at the top of the bag, Day was using a Ping G425 LST driver for a while but at the moment he has a Ping G410 LST driver (opens in new tab) with 8.5 degrees of loft.

Next up Day carries a TaylorMade SIM Max three-wood (opens in new tab) and this has a Mitsubishi Kuro Kage shaft. He also occasionally carries a five-wood of the same model but this comes in and out of the setup.

Irons

TaylorMade P770, TaylorMade P7MC

At the moment his longest iron is a TaylorMade P770 UDI two-iron whilst the rest of his irons are also made by the brand. He uses a set of TaylorMade P7MC (opens in new tab)‘s and they go from three-iron down to pitching wedge. These were a move away from the TaylorMade P760’s and Mizuno JPX 921 Tour irons he had in the bag.

Day’s wedge setup has recently changed as well. He was using some Artisan Prototypes but these have been replaced with Titleist Vokey SM9 wedges (opens in new tab). They have 52, 56 and 60 degrees of loft.
