Si Woo Kim What’s In The Bag?

South Korean Si Woo Kim has had three PGA Tour victories in his career so far. His first was at the 2016 Wyndham Championship and then he followed that a year later at the 2017 Players Championship where he won by three strokes. His most recent victory came at the 2021 American Express where he shot a final round 64 to win by one. He has also been in two playoffs but lost both of them. Kim has a full bag of Callaway equipment in the setup at the moment. He starts with a Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond S driver, which replaced his Epic Speed model. The Triple Diamond S model is the design for the most consistent ball-strikers and therefore Tour players. 

Fairways

He then had two Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero models in the bag but these have been replaced by two Callaway Rogue ST LS fairway woods with 13.5 and 18.5 degrees of loft. It is a low spin fairway wood that combines classic shaping with modern technology for impressive ball speeds. It was one of the fastest fairways we have tested in 2022, long and accurate and would make a great back-up to driver on tighter courses.

Irons

Callaway X Forged CB

Having previously used Apex MB’s and Apex Pro’s, Kim now has a set of Callaway X Forged CB’s bag which go from three-iron down to pitching wedge. The irons have a traditional look at address but the new design feature is the tungsten weighting screwed into the back of the head. From a feel perspective they are buttery soft with a premium golf ball and provide a good level of workability when needed.
