SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. – The NC State men’s golf team opens the 2022-23 season on Friday when it begins play at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate held at the Mirabel Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The Maui Jim Intercollegiate is a loaded field with 14 of the 18 teams participating having qualified for an NCAA Regional last season. Eight of the 14 teams advanced from the NCAA Regionals to the season-ending NCAA Championships.
Head Coach Press McPhaul is beginning his sixth season as head coach of the Pack. NC State has won 11 tournaments in five seasons under McPhaul, including seven in the last two seasons.
