Her early round was shaky with bogeys on No. 2 and No. 3, but she rebounded nicely with birdies at No. 5, No. 6 and No. 7 to finish the front nine 1-under. Lee then birdied five of the first seven holes on the back nine, before closing with consecutive pars to hold on to the victory.
Lee becomes Stanford’s first winner on the LPGA Tour since Hilary (Homeyer) Lunke won the 2003 U.S. Women’s Open. Lee is the Cardinal’s all-time career wins leader with nine, with her record-breaking ninth victory coming at The Molly Intercollegiate, coincidentally also in Portland, in 2019.
