Clemson, S.C.—The 17th-ranked women’s golf team continues the 2022-23 season on Saturday at the 2022 Schooner Classic in Norman, Okla. The three-round, 54-hole tournament takes place over three days at the par-70, 6,109-yard Belmar Golf Club.
Clemson is one of four ACC teams in the 15-team field, as Florida State, Louisville and Virginia Tech will also compete. Big 12 teams include Baylor, Oklahoma State, TCU and tournament-host Oklahoma. It will be Clemson’s sixth appearance at the annual event.
The first round begins at 9:00 am (10:00 am ET), with the Tigers teeing off in the second group on hole one. Clemson is paired with North Texas and Virginia Tech.
Clemson’s lineup is the same group that finished second in the Cougar Classic earlier this month, but with a twist. Freshman Sydney Roberts earned the No. 1 spot in qualifying this week, followed by Savannah Grewal and Annabelle Pancake. Chloe Holder and Melena Barrientos round out the team-scoring five, while Katherine Schuster will represent Clemson as an individual.
The Tigers appeared in both the Golfweek and the Mizuno WGCA Coaches Polls this week, sitting at #7 in the Golfweek poll and #17 in the WGCA Poll.
Live scoring will be available on golfstat.com.
