NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Junior Camille Boyd heads into Sunday’s third and final round at the Mason Rudolph Championship tied for eighth place with a two-round score of 141, three strokes under par.
After two rounds at the Vanderbilt Legends Club, Washington stands in ninth place, 10-over for the tournament, having shot a 6-over 294 on Saturday.
Boyd, who made three birdies and six pars on the front nine on Friday, repeated that performance in round two. Over the final nine holes, she added a fourth birdie, while making two bogies, to finish the round with a 2-under 70, one stroke better than her previous round. She heads into Sunday four strokes off of the lead.
The UW’s next-best round of day came from Brittany Kwon, who shot a 1-over 73. Through two rounds, she’s 5-over and tied for 42nd place. Also tied for 42nd is freshman Carmen Lim, who carded a 4-over 76 on Saturday.
Winnie Ng shot a 3-over 75 on Saturday, leaving her 3-over for the tournament, tied for 31st place. Jamie Hsieh sits in a tie for 67th at 11-over par.
Washington will tee off in the first group on the final day of the tournament, beginning Sunday morning at 6:00 a.m. PT.
