The tournament will be played at the par-72, 7,465-yard Kampen Course, which is ranked No. 6 in the state of Indiana. The course has hosted the 2008 NCAA Men’s Championships and several NCAA Regionals.
According to Golfweek, Tennessee is the highest ranked team in the field.
Three Vol golfers are also set to compete as individuals in the Purdue Fall Individual at the par-72, 7,275-yard Ackerman-Allen Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday.
The Vols are coming off of a tournament title at the SEC Fall Match Play Championships—the sixth team tournament title of the Brennan Webb era. Tennessee finished second in the stroke play portion of the event—shooting 35-under as a team, which marked the fifth-best team 54-hole score in relation to par in program history.
By finishing second in stroke play, Tennessee qualified for the match play final, in which the Vols defeated No. 1 Vanderbilt.
Redshirt junior Jake Hall led the way in stroke play, shooting 12-under and recording a career-best tied-for-second-place finish.
This marks the first time under Webb that Tennessee will compete at Kampen Course. The Vols do have a trip to Indiana under Webb however—a tied-for-second-place finish at the 2021 NCAA Regional in Noblesville, which qualified the Vols for the NCAA Championships.
