UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men’s golf team heads to Vero Beach, Fla. Sunday and Monday for their fourth and final fall competition of the season at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational.

The event will be played at the Quail Valley Golf Club, which plays as a par-72, 7,350-yard course. The first and second rounds will begin Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, while tee times for Monday’s final round begin at 8 a.m. off the first and 10th holes.

The Nittany Lions face a quick turnaround for their final event of the fall season after having just competed in the Georgetown Intercollegiate at the Liberty National Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday. Penn State finished third in the 12-team event, with senior Patrick Sheehan leading the way for the Nittany Lions with a seventh-place finish.

Penn State will be represented by Sheehan, sophomore Jake Griffin, junior James Allen, sophomore Morgan Lofland and freshman Billy Pabst Jr. once again. Those five Nittany Lions have competed in each of Penn State’s previous two fall tournaments. Sheehan (71.56) and Griffin (72.44) own the top stroke averages on the team through nine rounds this fall.
