WILMINGTON, N.C. – The University of Louisville men’s golf team will close out its fall season as they travel to the Williams Cup this weekend from Oct. 21-23. The Cardinals will tee off of hole 10 on Friday, starting at 8:30 a.m.
For the second consecutive season, UNC will host The Williams Cup presented by STITCH Golf® to honor Hall of Fame Tar Heel men’s basketball coach Roy Williams and his wife, Wanda. The Cardinals played in the William’s Cup last season as well.
Through four tournaments this season, Jiri Zuska leads the Cardinals with a 71.00 scoring average and Max Kennedy follows with a 71.17 scoring average. Both most recently finished in the top 15 at Blessings Collegiate Invitational.
After this weekend’s tournament, the Cardinals will continue tournament play at the Sea Best Invitational on Jan. 30-31.
