STANFORD, Calif. – The Washington women’s golf team closed out the Stanford Intercollegiate in 12th place, retaining the position they held after Saturday’s second round.
For the second day in a row, the UW women shot an 8-over 292. They finished the three-day tournament with a 19-over total of 871.
The Huskies’ top overall finisher was Brittany Kwon, shot a 2-over 73 on Sunday to finish the tournament in 42nd place, at 5-over.
Freshman Carmen Lim had the Huskies’ low score of the third round, with a 1-over 72. Her scorecard showed a steady round with three bogies and two birdies.
Senior Winnie Ng notched an eagle on the par-5 seventh hole to highlight a 2-over 73. She finished the tournament at 9-over.
Stefanie Deng was 9-over on Sunday, moving her to 8-over for the weekend.
Next up for the Huskies is the Pac-12 Preview, next Mon.-Wed., Oct. 31-Nov. 2 on the Big Island of Hawai’i.
