KAILUA-KONA, Hawai’i – The Washington women’s golf team closed out the fall season with a 10th-place finish at the Pac-12 Preview. Senior Winnie Ng closed out her fall with the UW’s low round of the day, a 3-under 70.
The Huskies finished the three-day tournament at par-73 Nanea Golf Club with a 34-over total of 910. No.1-ranked Stanford won the event.
Ng’s scorecard included five birdies and two bogies, and represented the third-lowest score of the third round among all players. She was also the Huskies’ top finisher, as her three-day total of 6-over 225 tied her for 29th place.
Brittany Kwon finished with a 4-over 77 on Wednesday, tying her for 37th overall, at 9-over for the tournament. Close behind was Stefanie Deng, who was just 2-over in round three, placing her in a tie for 43rd at 11-over.
Huskies Camille Boyd and Carmen Lim were one and two shots back, respectively, finishing in ties for 43rd and 49th.
Washington’s next action comes at the Ohio State Regional Challenge, next February.
