There aren’t annual superlatives for the PGA Tour, but if there were, Viktor Hovland would be a lock for best smile on Tour year in and year out.
Don’t let the fun personality fool you, Hovland is a killer on the golf course.
After an outstanding amateur career that included winning the 2018 U.S. Amateur, Hovland earned his PGA Tour card at the 2019 Korn Ferry Finals.
It didn’t take long for ‘Hovi’ to make an impact, winning his first event at the Puerto Rico Open. Capping off his rookie campaign, Hovland took home his second win at the Mayakoba Classic in December of 2020.
With six professional wins under his belt, a Ryder Cup appearance and a lovable personality, Hovland is a huge part of the PGA Tour’s next generation of talent.
