The PGA TOUR returns to Albany in the Bahamas for the 2022 Hero World Challenge. Tiger Woods once again plays host to the event, but unfortunately will not be teeing it up this week due to a plantar fasciitis foot injury. Viktor Hovland, who claimed a dramatic one-shot victory on the 72nd hole in 2021, despite starting the day six shots off the lead, returns to defend his title. 2018 winner Jon Rahm makes his return to the event, alongside 2022 U.S. Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick and 2022 PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas. Six of the top 10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking will be making the trip to the Bahamas, including Collin Morikawa and Scottie Scheffler. Tony Finau, a three-time winner on the PGA TOUR in 2022, will look to continue his great run of form, as will breakout star Tom Kim, who tasted victory at the Wyndham Championship and the Shriners Children’s Open in 2022.
