Women's Golf Opens Spring Season at Tulane Classic

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Rutgers women’s golf is set to open its spring season this weekend at the Tulane Classic presented by Chad Brownstein.

The Scarlet Knights are looking to build on a very successful fall season, where the team collected a pair of individual victories as well as a team title. Leigha Devine opened the year with an individual title at the Badger Invitational, setting an event record in the process. Just two tournaments later, the Scarlet Knights dominated the field to win the Rocket Classic by 13 strokes. Rikke Nordvik won the individual title, leading a group of three RU golfers finishing in the top three spots.
