RIO GRANDE, PUERTO RICO – Will Celiberti led the Terps placing in a three-way tie for 54th l Tuesday in the 30th annual Puerto Rico Classic at the Grand Reserve Golf Club. He posted a score of 219 (71-75-73), which was three over par. The Maryland men’s golf team finished 13th.
The Collective
-Freshman Ronnie Kim finished 69th, posting 227 (73-75-79) (+11)
-Freshman Constantin Mons finished in a two-way tie for 70th, posting 229 (78-76-75) (+13)
-Sophomore Florian Huerlimann finished in a solo 76th, posting 233 (81-80-72) (+17)
-Senior Dillon Brown finished in a solo 77th, posting 239 (78-81-80) (+23)
Over the three-day tournament (Feb. 12-14), the Terrapins played the par-72 – 7,506-yard Grand Reserve Country Club designed by Tom Kite for the second year in a row. The Championship Course is also home to the PGA TOUR’s Puerto Rico Open.
