After back-to-back designated events, and another one on the horizon at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Honda Classic sits in an awkward spot on the PGA Tour schedule.
Many of the world’s best players are taking the week off, however, Sungjae Im, Billy Horschel and defending champion Sepp Straka will all tee it up next week at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The 2022 PGA Tour University No. 1 and two-time Korn Ferry Tour winner Pierceson Coody will make his first start on Tour as a professional.
Both Ryder Cup captains, Zach Johnson and Luke Donald, are also making the trip to Florida.
