LA QUINTA, Calif. – Day two of The Prestige at PGA West individual tournament came to a close Tuesday with all three Husky competitors in the middle of a crowded field. The third and final round will be played Wednesday.
Huskies Robert Galligan, Aidan O’Hagan and Patrick Hong all sit within three strokes and eight places of one another on the leaderboard.
Gallian, who shot a 1-under 71 on Monday, carded a 5-over 77 on Tuesday, to move to 4-over for the tournament, tying him for 22nd place. Only five of the 49 players in the individual tournament scored under par on Tuesday.
O’Hagan followed his first-round 74 with a 76 on Tuesday. At 6-over par overall, he’s tied for 26th place heading into Wednesday.
Hong is just one stroke back of O’Hagan, having carded a 78 on Tuesday after a 73 in the first round. He made par or birdie on all but four holes.
The tournament – which also features a team competition – wraps up with the third round on Wednesday.
