Tigers Finish Sixth in Moon Golf Invitational – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Ten Programs Set APR Records; Fourteen Earn Perfect Single-Year Scores – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Melbourne, Fla. – Clemson women’s golf finished -10 to place sixth in the 2023 Moon Golf Invitational at the par-72, 6362-yard Suntree Country Club Classic Course in Melbourne, Fla. The 37th-ranked Tigers finished ahead of 25th-ranked Arkansas, 19th-ranked Vanderbilt, 21st-ranked UCF, 33rd-ranked Michigan, 7th-ranked Florida State, 45th-ranked North Carolina and 42nd-ranked Alabama. 

Savannah Grewal finished tied for 17th at -4 on the weekend to lead the Tigers from the #2 spot, while Katherine Schuster and Chloe Holder each finished tied for 23rd at -3. Holder turned in the lowest round of the day for the Tigers, recording six birdies to shoot a three-under 69. Freshman Isabella Rawl finished the weekend at +6, while freshman Sydney Roberts finished at +8.

Ninth-ranked LSU won the team title at -30, while 27th-ranked Northwestern finished second at -21 and 34th-ranked Florida finished third at -18. Seventeenth-ranked Auburn finished fourth at -15 and 41st-ranked Michigan State shot -12 on the final round to finish in fifth at -14.

The Tigers are back in action on March 4, traveling to Gainesville, Fla., for the Gator Invitational.
