UW Golfers Wrap Up Play At Prestige Individual Tournament

LA QUINTA, Calif. – Three Washington men’s golfers wrapped up play Wednesday as The Prestige at PGA West individual tournament came to a close with round three.
 
All three UW players – Robert Galligan, Aidan O’Hagan and Patrick Hong – finished their three rounds on the North Course within just a few of shots of one another.
 
Galligan was the Huskies’ top finisher. On Wednesday, he carded a 4-over 76 to finish the three day with an 8-over 224, tying him for 21st place.
 
O’Hagan was just two shots back of Galligan. In the third round, O’Hagan posted a 5-over 77, for a total of 10-over 226, tying him for 26th.
 
Hong, a freshman, also turned in a 5-over 77 Wednesday. His three-day total of 12-over 228 tied him for 29th place.
 
Next for the Huskies is the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic, March 6-7, in San Diego, where the full team will participate.
