Ho leads Badgers after first day of Westbrook Invitational


PEORIA, Ariz. — After two rounds of play, the Wisconsin women’s golf team is in 14th place at the 2023 Westbrook Invitational. The team is currently led by Vanessa Ho, who is T26 after the first day.

Sunday, Feb. 26

Round 2

Wisconsin carded a +14 in the second round to end day one in 14th. Improving her score by an impressive eight strokes, Ho led the Badgers, shooting a -3 to T26. Emily Lauterbach tallied a +5 to T50, while Gia Feliciano and Chloe Chan followed closely behind with a +6 to T69. Alexia Siehl rounded out the lineup for the Badgers, shooting a +8 to place in 77th. Representing Wisconsin as an individual, Carly Carter shot a +8 to T72. 

Round 1

The Badgers completed round one with a +12, placing them in 14th. Lauterbach led Wisconsin with a +1 to T21. The senior also led the team in each round of the Paradise Invitational earlier this month, where she finished T15. Feliciano and Chan each shot a +3 to T45, while Ho tallied a +5 to T64. Joining the Badgers for the first time this spring, Siehl carded a +6 to T69. Competing as an individual, Carter completed the round with a +3 to T45.
