Nebraska competed in the Desert Mountain Collegiate a year ago, finishing fourth place and two strokes off the team title in their best performance in spring 2022. Will Marshall, who will golf out of the No. 1 spot in the Husker lineup in this year’s tournament, finished tied for 46th, carding a 228 (+12). He is also coming off a strong performance at The Prestige in Palm Springs, Calif. Feb. 20-22, where he finished tied for 47th, buoyed by a third-round 71 (E).

Marshall is joined by Jeremy Sisson atop the Husker lineup. Sisson has also competed in every event for the Huskers this season, holding a 73.93 stroke average through 14 rounds in 2022-23.

Grant Jabenis is making his third lineup appearance this season for the Big Red following a career-high third place finish at The Prestige Individual tournament in Indio, Calif. Feb. 20-22. Jabenis also tied his career-low round twice, with two 71 (E) scores and will look to carry his momentum into Arizona.

Reed Malleck (Jr., York, Neb.) will golf out of the No. 5 spot in the Nebraska lineup after finishing The Prestige with a 54-hole score of 236 (+23).

Rounding out the Husker contingent in Scottsdale is true freshman Evan McDermott. McDermott is making his fourth straight lineup appearance for Nebraska. The native of Spring Lake, Mich., carries a 74.90 stroke average through 11 rounds into this weekends action.
