BANDON, Ore. – The Washington State men’s golf team heads to the Oregon coast this weekend to participate in the 2023 Bandon Dunes Championship in Bandon, Oregon. The three-day tournament will take place March 12-14 at the Bandon Dunes Golf Club.
The Course and Tournament Format
Washington State will make its annual trip to the Bandon Dunes Championship, an event that began in 2010. The tournament will take place at the Bandon Dunes Course, a 6,676-yard course that plays as a par 72. The first round will take place this Sunday, March 12, at 8:30 a.m. PT. The second round will begin Monday, March 13, with the final round being held on Tuesday, March 14. All three rounds of the Bandon Dunes Championship will feature an 8:30 a.m. PT shotgun start.

Drayton Joseph will make his Cougar debut at the Bandon Dunes Championship, as he will represent Washington State as an individual golfer in Oregon.
The 2023 Bandon Dunes Championship will be hosted once again by Idaho. Along with the Vandals, the Cougars will take on No. 28 Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, Air Force, Boise State, Drexel, Fresno State, James Madison, Long Beach State, Sacramento State, Santa Clara, San Jose State, Seattle U., Seton Hall, SIU-Edwardsville, and South Dakota.

On a day when windy conditions saw no team break par and scores rise throughout the field, Washington State Men’s Golf battled its way to a final round total of 305 at The Prestige Wednesday on the par 71, 7,100-yard Greg Norman Course at PGA West. The Cougars’ three-day total of +33, 885, tied for 12th overall in the strong early-season field.
