Mesa, Ariz. – Annabelle Pancake shot a 69 for the second day in a row to finish the day at -3 and sit in second place heading into Sunday’s final round of the 2023 Clover Cup, held at the par-72 Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz. Pancake is now -6 on the weekend, just one shot out of first place (Angela Arora, Tennessee).
As a team, the Tigers dropped one spot after round two and now sit in fourth heading into the final round. Clemson finished the day at +8 and is now _5 on the weekend. Texas A&M leads at -16, while New Mexico is in second at -6. Georgia jumped Clemson and now sits in third at +5 and Tennessee rounds out the top-5 at +12.
Pancake tallied three birdies on the front half to just one bogey to sit at -2 at the turn. She was steady on the back nine, turning in two birdies and one bogey to finish the day with her second-consecutive 69.
Savannah Grewal and Chloe Holder are both tied for 18th, while Melena Barrientos is tied for 33rd. Katherine Schuster rounds out the Tigers’ lineup tied for 62nd, while Isabella Rawl is tied for 29th as an individual.
Clemson tees off tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. in a shotgun start for the final round.
