Hruby Named Pac-12 Golfer Of The Week After Lamkin Win

Washington’s Petr Hruby has been named the Pac-12 Men’s Golfer of the Week following his victory last Tuesday at the Lamkin San Diego Classic, the conference office announced today.

Hruby, a senior from Pilsen, Czech Republic, earned his first career victory at San Diego Country Club, finishing three strokes ahead of the second-place finisher with a three-round total of 12-under 204. Hruby didn’t card a single bogey over his final 37 holes, scoring an 8-under 64 in round two and a 3-under 69 in the final round.

It’s the second career Pac-12 honor for Hruby, who was Pac-12 Golfer of the Month as a freshman in Nov., 2019.

The Huskies return to action at the end of the month, playing at The Goodwin at Stanford Golf Course March 30-April 1
