Li to Compete in Sage Valley Junior Invitational

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. – Duke women’s golf incoming freshman Katie Li will hit the course for the second time in 2023 as she competes in the Sage Valley Junior Invitational March 16-18 at the Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, S.C.

The event features nine of the top-10 eligible girls in the nation and is considered by Golfweek to be the No. 1 junior event in golf.  Li is currently listed No. 4 in the Golfweek girls’ rankings.

Li, who is from Basking Ridge, N.J., is coming off an impressive showing in January at the ANNIKA Invitational where she turned in rounds of 69, 67 and 69 for a 14-under-par ledger.  She placed tied for second as she went her final 48 holes without a bogey.

She owns 18 career top-5 finishes on the AJGA.
