The Missouri women’s golf team closed out moving day of the MountainView Collegiate carding a 1-over 289.
The Tigers improved by one stroke from their first round score to total a two-day score of 579 and remain in 12th place.
Freshman Melanie Walker led the team today carding a 1-under 71 to compliment her first round 1-over 73 to round out an even-par standing. Her fourth career round under-par featured three birdies and an eagle on a par 5.
Both freshman Kate Bibby and graduate student Sky Sload bounced back from 2-over 74s to post even-par 72s and join junior Emily Staples tied for 49th place.
The final round tomorrow will consist of a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. MST with the Tiger starting on holes 10, 11 and 12.
