Hall Awarded SEC Golfer of the Week

Tennessee redshirt junior men’s golfer Jake Hall has been named SEC Golfer of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.

Hall captured his first career individual title in the 108-player field at the All-American Intercollegiate on Tuesday—shooting 7-under and winning the tournament by a stroke. Hall made 10 birdies and an eagle over the course of the tournament’s three rounds.

The win marked the seventh individual title under the direction of head coach Brennan Webb—by the sixth different Vol.

In addition to capturing the individual title, Hall provided Tennessee with three counting scores in the team’s tied for second-place finish, including a round one 4-under 68 and round two 3-under 69.

Through seven tournaments during the 2022-23 season, Hall has posted a 71.19 average and has carded 13 rounds of par or better.

The Knoxville native is the fourth men’s golfer to be named to an SEC weekly honor for the 2022-23 season, joining Evan Woosley-Reed, Bryce Lewis, and Caleb Surratt.
