Clemson, S.C. – Clemson recorded a 281 (-7) to hold a six-stroke lead after the first round of the Clemson Invitational, on the par-72, 6,386-yard course at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. The No. 28 Tigers finished ahead of eight ranked teams after the first round.
Savannah Grewal led Clemson individually, finishing in the lead at -4 (68). THe Mississauga, Ontario, native birdied six holes, three on both the front and the back, to finish with a 68. Annabelle Pancake finished at -3 in a tie for second with individual Sydney Roberts. Isabella Rawl turned in four birdies to finish at -1 in a tie for 10th, while Katherine Schsuter finished at +1 for a tie for 24th. Chloe Holder rounded out the Clemson scoring at +2 in a tie for 30th.
Individuals Melena Barrientos and Gabriella Tomanka finished at +2 and +10, respectively.
