Alabama Men’s Golf at 13-Under Par with Play Halted Midway through Second Round

WEST POINT, Miss. – An early morning rain delay ultimately caused play to be suspended due to darkness in the opening day of the Mossy Oak Collegiate on Monday. The 18-team field was able to complete the first round after play after waiting approximately two hours to begin the day due to inclement weather in the area, before being forced to stop as teams were making the turn in round two.

The Crimson Tide finished the opening 18 holes in a tie for fourth overall at 10-under par 278 and was at 3-under when play was halted. It marked the fourth-lowest team round of the year.

The field will conclude second round play on the par 72, 7,212-yard Mossy Oak Golf Club course at 8 a.m. CT Tuesday morning. The third and final round will begin immediately following the conclusion of round two.
