Sam’s Comments

“First, I would like to thank you, Chairman Ridley and the Augusta National members. I’ve always wanted to just play Augusta National and to be able to play it on Easter Sunday, one of the last few groups, was a was a dream come true. I’d like to thank my fellow amateurs who are here this week, and the support of the staff, the volunteers, and especially the patrons. Y’all are incredible. Y’all made me feel so comfortable and welcomed out there. So thank y’all for that. My coach, Brian Kortan, he was incredible. And without him, I wouldn’t have played the golf I played. All credit to him. And to my mom and brothers and family, friends that came down…it was a special week. It was the best time of my life. So thanks to everybody for making this week so special.”
