SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – No. 8 Stanford men’s golf concluded its regular season schedule with a fourth-place finish at the Western Intercollegiate. The Cardinal finished with an 18-over 1,068 in the play-six, count-five format, the same format used at the Pac-12 Championships.

Michael Thorbjornsen led Stanford and finished with a 1-over 211 for the tournament. He opened with a bogey-free, 6-under 64 on Monday and concluded with a 2-over 72 on Wednesday, which matched Nate Menon for the Cardinal’s round of the day.

The Cardinal now turns its attention to Pac-12 Championships, which will be held at Stanford Golf Course from April 28-30.
