WSU Women’s Golf Head Coach Sofie Aagaard on the Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championship
“We’re very fortunate to play in a very competitive conference. It is an incredibly strong field and we’ve been fortunate to play against many of these teams already this spring. So, we have seen what talent is out there and how well everyone is playing. Coming off our last tournament at Silverado, we missed some shots into the rough and missed the greens. So, we have spent a lot of time on the driving range the last few days and honed in on more consistency and ball striking. We also have spent time on the putting greens to make sure we make a few more putts.”
The Field
The 2023 Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championships will feature a loaded 11-team field from the Pac-12 Conference. A total of seven Golfweek Top-50 teams will be in attendance at the Pac-12 Championships, including the nation’s top two teams No. 1 Stanford and No. 6 Oregon, along with host No. 12 Arizona State.
