Ketchum makes Tech history at ACC Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Virginia Tech women’s golfer Morgan Ketchum fired the lowest 54-hole score at the ACC Championship in program history – 3-under 213 – to place eighth upon conclusion of Friday’s final round of stroke play at Sedgefield Country Club.

A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Ketchum tied for the tournament high with 16 birdies en route to besting the previous best score at ACCs of 1-over 217 shot twice (Emily Mahar, 2022 and Becca DiNunzio, 2021). Ketchum tied Wake Forest’s Rachel Kuehn for the tournament lead in birdies, while DiNunzio led the field in pars (42).
