PHOENIX – Zoe Antoinette Campos moved up the leaderboard into a tie for 7th (-2) after shooting another 1-under 71 in round two of the Pac-12 Championships at Papago Golf Club on Tuesday. The No. 24 UCLA women’s golf team is in 10th place at 18-over (296-298).
The Bruins shot 10-over as a team round two.
Campos trails No. 1 Stanford’s Rose Zhang (-9) in first place by seven strokes. Arizona and No. 14 USC are tied for first out of 11 teams at 8-under.
Campos recorded four birdies in her round, including three in her second set of nine holes on the front nine. Sophomore Caroline Canales, who also had four birdies, is tied for 27th at +3 (75-72).
Alessia Nobilio is tied 47th at +9 (75-78), Annabel Wilson is tied for 49th at +10 (75-79) and Yuki Yoshihara is tied for 52nd at +13 (80-77).
