The first 18 holes of the 2023 Zurich Classic of New Orleans at TPC Louisiana are in the books.
The Fitzpatrick brothers, Matt and Alex, got off to a great start with a 10-under 62. Their opening score was matched by Team Mitchell/Im, Lipsky/Rai, Norlander/List and Noh/Kim.
Surprisingly, defending champions Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantaly struggled a bit in the easier of the two formats, opening with a 5-under 67.
Beau Hossler and Wyndham Clark shot a first-round 11-under 61 and lead after 18 holes.
