Sophomore Natalie Vo was named Most Valuable Player and Most Improved. Fifth-year senior Malak Bouraeda earned the Toughest Buff Award, sophomore Lauren Gooding took home The Bag of Chips honor while freshman Morgan Miller won the Shoulder to Shoulder Award.
Vo led Colorado in stroke average at 75.67. She was Colorado’s low scorer in four events this season including two of the final three. Vo led the Buffaloes in rounds scored in the 70s (26) and sub-par rounds (4). She had two Top 20 finishes, tying for 14th at the Barbara Nicklaus Cup during the fall season and tying for 15th at the PING/ASU Invitational in March with her season-best 54-hole score of 2-over-par, 218.
Vos’s 75.67 stroke average was an 0.61 improvement from her freshman season, the best mark among returning players. She improved her spring scoring average by more than a stroke, shooting 75.9 this season compared to 77.2 in 2022.
Miller was voted on by her teammates to receive the Shoulder to Shoulder Award, given to the player who embodies the highest ideal of what it means to be a great teammate.
