COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland men’s golfer Thomas Eubanks earned a Sportsmanship Award from the Big Ten Conference, the conference announced Wednesday.
Eubanks, a senior Management from Charlotte, N.C., did not compete this season but significantly impacted the Maryland squad. He joins 13 other student-athletes from across the league in earning a Sportsmanship Award.
“I’m proud of Thomas for the work he put in day in and day out this year,” said first-year head coach John Phillips. “He has an infectiously positive attitude and has been a great teammate. I’m happy he was able to win the Sportsmanship Award in his final year with the program and know that he will achieve great things in life.”
