PULLMAN, Wash. – The second round of the 2023 NCAA Pullman Regional concluded at Palouse Ridge Tuesday, May 9, with Washington State women’s golfer Darcy Habgood ending the day in a tie for 24th on the player leaderboard after she fired 1-over 73 in the round.
Habgood opened the second round of the NCAA Pullman Regional by carding par or better on her first eight holes of the day, with the lone exception being a birdie on hole 15. The fifth-year senior went into the 18-1 turn at even par but would go 1-over on her final eight holes of the round to finish her day at 1-over 73.
The fifth-year senior heads into Wednesday’s final round in a tie for 24th on the player leaderboard with a 36-hole score of 1-under 143. Habgood tees off tomorrow at 8:55 a.m. PT on the 10th tee at Palouse Ridge.
Stanford continued to hold onto its lead at the end of the second round of play at the 2023 NCAA Pullman Regional, as the Cardinal ended their day at 14-under 274. Stanford brings a 36-hole score of 35-under 541 into the third round and takes an 18-stroke lead over second-place Texas Tech. Stanford’s Rose Zhang holds a slim lead on the player leaderboard heading into the final round of play at the NCAA Pullman Regional. Zhang has a two-day score of 12-under 132, as the defending NCAA Individual Champion tales a one-stroke lead over Texas Tech’s Shannon Tan and a two-stroke lead over her Stanford teammate Sadie Englemann.
The final round of the 2023 NCAA Pullman Regional gets underway this Wednesday at Palouse Ridge. Teams will team off from 8-9:55 a.m. PT. Fans can follow all the action at GolfStat.com.
