Future Husker Arden Louchheim captured the Utah Girls Junior Amateur Championship on Friday, June 9 at Park City Golf Club.
Louchheim, who recently completed her senior season at Rowland Hall High School in Salt Lake City, won the 18th hole for a 1 up match play victory to claim the title at the 40th Utah Junior Amateur event.
The three-time Utah Class 2A high school state champion added an individual state runner-up finish to her list of honors in the spring of 2023, while helping Rowland Hall to a second-place team finish during the spring.
Louchheim (pronounced LOCK-hime) led the Winged Lions to back-to-back state team championships in 2021 and 2022.
A four-time IMG Junior World Championship participant, Louchheim is also a two-time Girls Junior America’s Cup team member. She was also an AJGA Rolex Scholastic All-American.
