Five Alabama Golfers Earn WGCA All-America Scholar Honors


TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Five Alabama women’s golfers were selected as Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars, the organization has announced.

Crimson Tide golfers that were recognized by the WGCA include Kynadie Adams, Sarah Edwards, Taylor Kehoe, Benedetta Moresco and Isabella van der Biest.

The 2022-23 WGCA All-American Scholar Team included a total of 1,401 women’s collegiate golfers from 378 programs around the country who were recognized with the honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team included student-athletes maintaining an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and played in at least 50 percent of the team’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
