STANFORD, Calif. – Tiffanie Yabut has been named the Director of Golf Operations for the Stanford men’s and women’s golf programs, as announced by Conrad Ray, The Knowles Family Director of Men’s Golf, and Anne Walker, The Margot and Mitch Milias Director of Women’s Golf.
Yabut joins the Cardinal from CSU Bakersfield, where she was the head women’s golf coach for each of the last two seasons. Her tenure saw the Roadrunners improve by more than 50 spots in the national rankings with the lowest team scoring average in school history in 2022-23. Her responsibilities included directing and fundraising for home tournaments, scholarships, equipment and team travel, while the program scored the highest team grade point average in spring of 2023 at CSU Bakersfield.
Previously the head coach at Winona State University from 2019-21, Yabut led the Wazoos to a top five finish in its conference and improved the team scoring average by 40 strokes in her first season at the helm. She concurrently served as the tournament director at The Bridges Golf Course and as a junior golf coordinator, developing curriculum for golfers aged 5-17, and event coordinator.
Yabut is the co-founder of Impactour and Impact Golf Foundational and has a Class B Teaching and Club Professional License from the LPGA. She is a US Kid’s Golf certified coach.
A graduate of Missouri Western State University, Yabut competed in the 2016 Division II National Championships and was the school’s women’s golf Student-Athlete of the Year in 2018.
