Robertson finalizes 2023-24 women's golf schedule

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech women’s golf head coach Carol Robertson unveiled her squad’s 2023-24 schedule Thursday. The Hokies will compete in nine regular-season events and will look to advance to the NCAA regional round for the fifth time in program history with one of the deepest lineups Tech has fielded to date.

Tech will open the season with the Mary Fossum Invitational hosted by Michigan State, Sept. 17-18. The event will serve as a preview for one of the NCAA regional sites in May.

The Hokies will then return to the Schooner Fall Classic, Sept. 23-25, at Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Okla. Tech will finish out the fall in North Carolina at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 9-10), followed by the Landfall Tradition (Oct. 27-29).

In the spring, Tech will open play by going to the Sunshine State for the UCF Challenge (Feb. 4-6) and the Moon Golf Invitational (Feb. 18-20).

Next, the Hokies will return to the Valspar Augusta Invitational, March 9-10, in Augusta, Ga., before competing at the Clemson Invitational, March 22-24, at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, S.C. Tech will close the regular season in the NC State Match Play, April 8-9, at Lonnie Poole Golf Club in Raleigh, N.C.

The ACC Championship will be contested at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, N.C., April 18-21. NCAA regional action will take place May 6-8 at one of six sites – Auburn, Ala., Cle Elum, Wash., College Station, Texas, East Lansing, Mich., Las Vegas, Nev., and Winston-Salem, N.C.
