Devine, Nordvik, Rossettin Named to Big Ten Women's Golf Watch List

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Leigha Devine, Rikke Nordvik and Lucrezia Rossettin were all named to the Big Ten Women’s Golf Watch List for the 2023-24 season, the conference announced on Thursday.

A graduate student, Devine is coming off a stellar 2022-23 season that saw her secure a program-record 5th-place finish at Big Ten Championships to earn Big Ten All-Championship Team honors, set a tournament scoring record and earn a 1st-place finish at the Badger Invitational as well as be named Big Ten Golfer of the Week in September. She also etched her name in the program record books, setting single-season records for scoring average (+1.67), birdies (86), par-5 scoring (4.9083). Devine also set the RU record for career rounds of par or better with 18.

A rising senior, Nordvik’s 2022-23 season saw her earn the first individual title of her career, finishing in first place at the Rocket Classic in the fall. Her performance also earned her Big Ten Golfer of the Week honors, joining Devine as two Scarlet Knights to receive the recognition during the season.

Rossettin enters her junior year with 58 rounds across 20 tournaments under her belt. She played in all 30 rounds in 10 tournaments last season, posting a season-low round of 71 en route to a season-best 54-hole score of 224.

The Scarlet Knights tee off the 2023-24 season on Sept. 4 in West Lafayette, Ind. at the Boilermaker Classic.
